For a mystery writer there
are a number of excellent sources for publishing short stories. These include
magazines such as Alfred Hitchcock
Mystery Magazine and Ellery Queen
Mystery Magazine. Other good sources are anthologies including those
published by Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime.

I just learned about you, and your genre of "geezer lit" because of an excellent Goodreads review. Social media DOES make a difference for authors. I'm an author also, and I teach creative writing classes in the Boston and San Francisco Bay areas. Many of my students are in their 60s on up. I think they'll be inspired by your writing, your persistence, and your publishing.
Pamela. thanks for your comments. I'm always inspired by older writers such as Morrie Marcoff who signed at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books in 2017. He published his very first book at the age of 103.
